Iskolánk 100 éves múlttal és évtizedes hagyományokkal rendelkezik.

Oktató nevelő munkánk célja, hogy tanulóink megszerezzék az életkoruknak megfelelő tantárgyi ismereteket, amelyek biztos alapot nyújtanak a tovább tanulásukhoz. Névadónk: Bay Zoltán szellemében, a tudás megbecsülésére, a kitartásra, a szorgalomra, a kezdeményezőkészségre, a kreativitásra nevelés a pedagógiai alapelvünk.

Az általános képzés mellett nagy szerepet szánunk a gyermeki személyiség fejlesztésének, kiteljesítésének. A növendékek képességeihez, adottságaihoz, aktuális fejlettségi szintjéhez igazodó differenciált, családias légkörű bánásmódot biztosítunk. Kiemelt szerepet kap a nyelvtanulás, a számítástechnikai képzés, a sportolás és a környezeti nevelés, tehetséggondozás. Az országos rendeletnek megfelelően nálunk is van lehetőség a hitoktatáson való részvételre.

Alsó tagozaton egész napos iskolarendszerben oktatunk, a felső tagozaton tanítási órák után a szakkörök és tehetséggondozó foglalkozások széles skáláját, valamint napközis ellátást biztosítunk.

Our educational program gives priority to two kinds of values: humanity and creativity. With the forming of these two  values and abilities, we prepare our students for continuous learning. So as to achieve this, competency-based education  was introduced in the school year of 2009/2010. In this way, students will possess skills that they will need in secondary  school and their adult life. The children are provided with differential treatment, individual, pair and group work suited  to their abilities, endowments and the current level of their development. Every child is treated as an individual.  The characteristics of this education:  The aim of the introductory period (1st and 2nd year) is to give self-confidence to each child, to establish a positive  attitude to learning, to the school, and develop fluency in communication, which is necessary for self-expression and  understanding other people. Sufficient time is allowed for skill development, taking into account the child’s personality  and individual pace of progress as much as possible.  The two defining characteristics of the first two years in our school is the application of the Meixner method and all-day  school education. This reading teaching method takes into account the special characteristics of the Hungarian language  and the individual child, and provides enough time for the reading to ripen. Compared with other methods, it develops  reading skills more thoroughly and more detailed. It is a synthesizing, i.e. syllabic method of teaching reading. It makes  the development of spelling skills easier, since the problems of word separation cease and errors concerning the duration  of sounds can be avoided as well.   In order to ease the possible anxiety of the children starting school, we have joint programs with the Óvári and Újvári  kindergartens, so in September, first grade children and their teachers can greet each other as acquaintances. In their first  school year, childern are transferred from kindergarten to school gradually. Games and playfulness are maintained  during the lessons as well.  Highlights in our school:  In the teaching of mathematics, the soroban method is an option. Children can get acquainted with the English language  from the first grade. General ability development, talent care and, if necessary, further skills development lessons are  held.   The children’s free time is enriched by afternoon occupation (chess, folk dance, karate). With the expansion and modernization of our library, our students are given several opportunities for self-education. We offer a wide range of sporting opportunities in our gym. Religious education is also available. The preparedness of our teachers and the equipment of our school ensure all the opportunities for high standard teaching and education.

Pedagógusaink felkészültsége és felszereltségünk minden feltételt biztosít a színvonalas oktatáshoz, neveléshez.
